Background Information

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires many additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. McPhillips, as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Dr. McPhillips practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts  to corrective jaw surgery

Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery for a safe oral surgery expience.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Bedford Associates in Oral and Maxilliofacial Surgery are experienced, registered and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist during administration of IV sedation and surgery. The surgical assistants are also certified in BLS, ACLS, and Pals. The front office  staff are informed administrative personnel, well versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
