Meet The Staff
We are blessed to have an experienced, dedicated, and loyal office team. High quality, safe, comfortable care for our patients is the primary responsibility of Dr. McPhillips and staff members. All of our clinical staff are recertified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) every two years, as are all of our administrative staff. Dr. McPhillips maintains certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and PALS. Most importantly, the anesthetic safety record of our surgical team is impeccable. In short, our staff is just as big a part of this practice team as the doctor, and we are proud to have them!
All of our surgical assistants have spent many years in the dental field, most of which were spent as oral surgery assistants. All of them have been with our practice for a number of years, so we have been fortunate to have minimal turnover in our staff. Each assistant has had at least 10 years or more of oral surgery assisting experience, and all of them are registered dental assistants and maintain certifications, from the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, in dental radiology and monitoring of nitrous oxide administration. They also have certifications in BLS, ACLS and PALS. This level of experience in our team provides our patients with a very knowledgeable staff with which to interact, as well as an efficient and streamlined surgical experience.
Front Office Staff
Our senior, administrative, staff members have also been with our practice for many years, with a very low turnover rate. Because of this, our administrative staff is well versed in the financial and insurance details that surround oral surgery care. Similarly, they are savvy to the needs of our referring doctors and their patients. Our administrators work very hard to keep close track of patient scheduling issues and are diligent in their efforts with insurance companies, to maximize the insurance benefits for our patients.
